Janjay Knowlden (Executive Producer, Co-Founder)
is a graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a BFA in Theatre - Acting. His direction credits include Protagonist Pizza Productions Running Back and a corner for august. He has also produced these two. He will also direct and share writing credits for Protagonist Pizza Productions Stillwater, as well as direct the upcoming web-series, Delivered. In the acting realm, credits include Romeo and Juliet, The Minotaur, The Other Shore, and the US Premiere of Tom Basden's Party.

is a co-founder of Protagonist Pizza Productions and a recent graduate from the University of Illinois for Theatre Studies. He has worked on over 50+ filmed projects in his youthful career and will not stop anytime soon. Filmmaking and video making are Nic's passions and he hopes that Protagonist Pizza can become a fully-fledged film company in the near future.

is a junior in the University of Illinois Advertising program where he is the current president of Potted Meat Sketch Comedy. He has worked on numerous video and film projects, and he has many more coming down the line. He is currently developing his web series, DELIVERED. He plans to make Protagonist Pizza Productions a name that film lovers everywhere are excited to hear.
Ethan Miles Perry (Artistic Director, Co-Owner)
is from Detroit, Michigan. He is a junior studying acting at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He's been in Mr. Burns, A Post-Electric Play (dir. Lisa Gaye Dixon), and Romeo & Juliet (dir. Robert G. Anderson) at Krannert. Outside of Krannert, he's been in Good Kids, the Music Man, Guys & Dolls, and Life, Death, and other Coincidences. Kate Fenton (Literary Manager)
is a graduate of the University of Illinois Theatre Studies program, with a concentration in directing and dramaturgy. While most of her directing experience is in theatre, she is excited to be directing PPP’s upcoming short film Breaking News Redux. In addition to being the Literary Manager for PPP, she also works as the arts editor for a local online magazine, and as a dramaturg for local productions. She loves helping writers develop their work for both the screen and stage!
